Hello and Welcome to our Clunes Yoga Class page.

 

I am currently caretaking this class for Yogalates Teacher Linda Kelly in my own unique Breath Based Five Element Hatha Yoga style for a few months until she returns from overseas later in the year. 

This class will focus on simple, seasonally relevant practices that are appropriate for students of all 'levels', shapes & sizes.

Classes will run in 7 Week Blocks EVERY week within the dates below unless noted here - so please check back to this page where any changes or updates will be posted.

I believe EVERYbody can do Yoga, you just have to be happy to select &/or modify positions and practices to be appropriate for where you're currently at - less is more.

I have been living in this area for almost 5 years, having fortuitously escaped Melbourne what initially seemed like well before Covid but now tbh it all feels like a blur.

This 7 Week Block of 60-75 min. classes will focus on movement & breathing practices that combine transitional ‘between seasons’ (grounding, Earth Element) along with those of Spring (growing, Wood Element) - that are especially important at this time with the unseasonably (relatively) warmer weather we’ve had in this area during the normally much colder months of Winter

 

Learn about and experience the positive effects on the body, breath & mind of different practices that are relevant to this time & place within the annual seasonal flow. 

 

With prices rising and spending reducing, combined with the natural contraction and slowing down that is otherwise ‘normal’ during these coldest months, many people could benefit from focusing and practicing on the enjoyment of not doing much, or being ok with doing less ('relative' yin), reconnecting with what’s going on around them as we now begin the slow transition into the energetically expanding months of Spring ('relative' yang). 

 

Classes are made suitable for participants of all 'levels' of experience, body shapes and sizes.

During the 7 Week Block, you are welcome to drop-in and Pay-As-You-Go at the rate of $20 per session, or preferably lock in a lower price by pre-purchasing a (non-refundable)

Additional classes may be attended at the lower drop-in rate of your pre-purchased pass within that same block.
